Fishing Rod Foundation Co.
The Fishing Rod Foundation Co. is a Pittsburgh based 501(c)(3) organization that uses fishing as a catalyst to mentor and support at-risk youth. The Fishing Rod Foundation was created to give less fortunate kids the opportunity to experience the beauty of the outdoors and to introduce them to the sport of fishing. The Fishing Rod Foundation also supports US Military Veterans and their families by sponsoring therapeutic outdoor recreation experiences through the sport of fishing. We understand that many individuals would love to go fishing or enjoy other outdoor activities but may be limited by their circumstances.

Our Mission is to mentor students of all ages through the sport of fishing and mentorship, with a hope of helping them to develop life skills while giving them a chance to have fun, build confidence and develop a meaningful connection with the outdoors
